COMPANY PROFILE
SOL Commercial was formed with the idea to be able to provide more to our clients. Three directors with different construction backgrounds joined to create a company that was able to offer more and provide a better level of service to its clients. Our SOL driver is to always over deliver to our clients needs.

Lucas De Matteis
Lucas commenced working in the construction industry in 2001 and has been working in the industry for 20 years. After high school Lucas obtained various WorkSafe (Vic) construction high risk work licenses that included basic scaffolding, dogging, basic and intermediate rigging and elevated work platform. For the first three years he worked onsite on the front line. The aim was to understand the construction industry from an onsite perspective and more importantly to understand the mentality of physically working onsite, prior to managing construction projects.

In 2003 Lucas attended RMIT tafe and obtained a diploma in building. Upon completion he transferred into the 3rd year of bachelor of applied science, Construction Management and graduated in 2006.

Between the years of 2006 to 2019, Lucas worked for various tier 1, 2 & 3 commercial construction companies working on projects ranging between the construction contract value of 5 million AUD to 2.6 billion AUD. Lucas started his journey as a graduate and was promoted along the way to pass through to the positions of site coordinator, project coordinator, senior project coordinator and project manager. Following this he transitioned to running his own projects in the commercial space.

For the past 20 years Lucas has been onsite delivery construction projects. His passion is construction and being on the front line where the construction action is. He believe delivering construction projects is an applied science and turns into art after it takes it physical form in the built environment.

Sam Gyawali
Sam has been in the industry for the last 15 years predominantly in the residential and Commercial sector, Sam’s experience ranges from sales, supervision and managing multiple companies.

Sam expertise is managing a team with a high level of administration and providing exceptional service to his clients. Sam has managed many teams to perform and excel in sales and project management.

The yearly years were mainly residential projects and soon Sam and his team had expanded business branches to commercial and industrial.

Today Sam looks over several companies specialising in residential, commercial, acquisition and developments and others, Sam’s professional input in the companies provides an elite level of professional input resulting in successful businesses.

Oska Phoenix
Oska comes from a strong high-end background. His key strength is in his exposure to high end finishing details. He is an excellent collaborator, communicator, and coordinator of the site team and the project control group. He is a problem solver and can handle, control and eliminate any disputes efficiently and fairly through his negotiation skills.

His projects have seen him coordinate with people across all trades, coordinate projects, overseeing contractors and subcontractors, all while ensuring the smooth run of the business. Oska holds advanced knowledge of construction management, proven by his successful work summary delivering designer projects.
